Alright, couple of things. 1) Thank god people still remember this amazing soundtrack and are still willing to remix it. 2) Love your take on it, nice and easy in the beginning with the basic melody and then the entry into the drop was really well done. 3) You plan on doing any more from this game?

Xiro responds:

I'd like to at some point, but I'd like to continue to develop my skills until I can do it all justice. Even this came close to not getting released.

Awesome

Sounds really cool, would also make a good song for netbattling music. It's what a DS battle network battle would sound like. Out of curiosity, was this for the Undersquare Battle Network Project?

CyriltheWolf responds:

No it was not for the Undersquare. sorry for the late response.

Meh

The song has its ups and downs, what would have worked best most likely, was since this is intended for a little bass action, but I found the bass lacking, you should have made tha bass something you could blow out your car speakers with (don't try it your home, do it at your friend's!:D). Anyways, perhaps a DnB remix was what I was expecting, so I was a little disappointed (Gotta love bass), so if you decide to try a bass version again, maybe my advice would help?

Weapongod30 responds:

Well, if I do another version, I'd try and use your advice, but I'm not really making songs anymore. Well, thanks for the advice!

Bringing out the Old Skool

Ah, good old days of the massive original GB. Anyways, I liked this one, sounded unique, a somewhat strange instrument patch, but it was still most impressive. Once again it seemed a little short, but maybe that's just me. Ah well, once again, good job.

Weapongod30 responds:

Heh, I cant remember what was up with it now, but most likely it was clipped cause it was over 4 megs! Oh well. Thanks for reviewing man!

Nice

Heh, not bad at all. Sounds pretty cool, I like the way it turned out by mixing ShinRa theme with the Great Warrior song. Hope to see you do some more FF7 remixes.

billy-magnum responds:

O U Will.........

Not Bad

I thought it was pretty good, the sound you used for the melody was a good choice. I take it that you were going for a remastered sound, which turned out good. Now what you should do is take all of this and change the percussion, add in something new, and slap the word remix on the title.

VGman2005 responds:

Hmm....I'll think about it. I might just play with it and try to go with an orchestral, dramatic theme.

Awesome

Woah, this song brings back memories of the boss everyone loves to hate. Guts Style was your friend for this one...anyways.... I liked the style of sound you chose for this song as kind of a darker feeling than the original. The song is a decent length, which is a good aspect. The song ends abruptly though, a fade out or something would have been good. Keep up the good work.

Weapongod30 responds:

Yeah, I had to cut part of it off to make it fit, but now I have another solution to use in the future instead of cropping! I downgrade the convertion quality to 128! Anyways, thanks for the review!

Awesome

I liked this song, being a PSO Ep. I and II player myself, I always wanted to see someone remix these songs. Anyways, to business, I think the sound was very good, perhaps a bit too repetition though. Either way, good job, I look forward to seeing you do some more PSO remixes.

DJ-Dajova responds:

Well, if u look closer in the list, i have accually make another PSO remix... "The Song For Eternal Story" is another PSO remix, ya know :P

Another respond for this review, is that this remix is 1 of my 1:st :D
I did this for like 7 month ago :P

Really Good, wish it was longer

Now this is wta I'm talking aout, good originality, nice tone work on the string sounds, I see you have some variation from the game melody in the beginning which is good. The only beef I have is that I wish the song were longer.

Weapongod30 responds:

Thanks man! Be sure to review other songs! Lol, anyways, thanks for reviewing so many songs!

Not remixed enough and not long enough.

It basically kept to the original song, which was also the problem, in remixes it is good to have the original tune, but try adding some more original content, basically, make the song what YOU want it to be like, not always how it is supposed to sound. It was still not bad though.

Weapongod30 responds:

Well, Thanks man! I'll try and work on that! Thanks for the review!
